Nas / Statik Selektah
"The Prophecy"

The best kept secret is no longer a secret to the mixtape world. Statik Selektah is a member of the powerful DJ crew Smash Squad which also consist of members Clinton Sparks, Chubby Chub and the legendary Tony Touch. Statik has come into his own by delivering to the streets the only mixtape this year that is actually hosted and cosigned by the Street Disciple himself titled "The Prophecy." Nas does a grip of interludes on the mixtape in which he talks about his career, corrupt record labels and radio stations, and many other relevant issues. The mixtape features rare and exclusive unheard Nas material including a world premiere record with Styles P and also features AZ, Prodigy and Scram Jones. "The Prophecy" resembles the affect of Green Lantern and Big Mike's "Champ is Here" mixtape which was an instant classic to JadaKiss fans. "The Prophecy" has done the same for Nas supporters as well. - HIPHOPGAME.com
