Stat's 2 Sense: Vol 1... (Journal)
Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 3:06AM Let's try this out...
I was always against therapy. Since i was 11 and got sent to a place for troubled teens and locked up with kids way older and way more fucked up than I was. However, i guess this could be my first step into letting anyone into my mind. I even plan on starting on my book soon... So here we go. I'll try this "journal" idea out (Or diary as my dude Evidence clowned me on twitter...)
I was hospitilized last night... in Brooklyn, which is always a nightmare late night in the ER. I've only told about 4 people outside of this post, which is now being seen by thousands. It has alot to do with stress, blood pressure, stomach issues, anxiety, and honestly... my biggest friend & enemy, Alchohol. This fast lane, rappity rap, travel, no sleep, party/studio/party/studio lifestyle will make you crash eventually. Before that, I ended up almost having a heart attack back in September. Since then I've lost weight, changed my diet, hit the gym more (but not enough), and been on & off a few medications. I also FINALLY have health insurance. I had to budge finally and pay for it out my pocket, as i am self employed. So we'll see soon, as i have my first physical since i was 17 coming up...
On another note, I'm alive & free. 2 of the best things you could be. Not everyone I know/have known has that privilege... and not many people get 1st, never-the-less 2nd chances at excellence.
My man Obie Trice just left the crib, and JUST dropped his album 3 hours ago. I produced the albums most talked about song, "Richard" featuring no other than Eminem (the biggest rapper in the world/my boss at Shade 45 along with PR). I'm happy for Obie. Make sure you check his album out. There's alot of honesty on there, which is rare in hip hop in 2012. Tomorrow im rocking with him at SOBs in NYC. 9pm. Shout to Dro, & the BME team.
I also have sessions with El Da Sensei of Artifacts & Dice Raw of the Roots this week, which should be dope. Thursday on Shade 45 i got some dope guests coming through too, as always! 8-12 eastern time on Sirius /XM.
Showoff Records got 2 big releases in the next 2 months, Reks "Straight No Chaser" & 1982's "2012", both which i produced entirely. Its an always-expanding sound, and im excited about them both. JFK, Ea$y Money, & KaliRaps all got projects almost rapped up too.
We also are preparing a crazy year of world-touring & signing new artist(s) as well.
The world don't stop spinning and one DJ don't stop the show (at least in the 90s)....
That's it for now. Live from Brooklyn. 330am. I'll be back on here soon.
Till then,
- @StatikSelekt
and follow my dude @jfkshowoff for inspiring this idea.

This last-mentioned old adidas f50 adizero volume interested him all the more, because his garden had been one of the lv factory spots haunted by goblins in former times. The twilight had begun adidas f50 adizero trx fg to whiten what was on high and to blacken all below. as he read, over the top of the book which he held in his hand, Father Mabeuf was surveying his plants, and among others a magnificent nike mercurial vapor white rhododendron which was one of his consolations; four days of heat, wind, and sun without a drop of lv outlet store rain, had passed; the stalks were bending, the buds drooping, the leaves falling; all this needed water, the rhododendron was particularly sad.
